The horizontal bar is designed for exercising in a hanging position. Pull-ups strengthen the muscles of the arms, shoulders, and back. Swinging the legs backwards, forwards and to the sides strengthens the abdominal and back muscles. The traction effect of pull-up exercises also relaxes the spine.
