The tilting bench is for strengthening the muscles of the abdomen. It works on the upper, lower, and oblique abdominal muscles. This is a highly effective, undemanding and safe form of exercise. The workout is done in a sitting position, swinging backwards and forwards with the back leaning against the rest. During these exercises the top of the spine is supported and the body moves fluidly. The legs are held in place by footrests.
